The following sets out the principles on which Sniffy OÜ (registration code 16557153) bases its data processing.

  1. OVERVIEWS

1.1 This Privacy Policy sets out the principles governing the collection, processing and storage of personal data. Personal data is collected, processed and stored by the controller of personal data, Sniffy OÜ (hereinafter referred to as Sniffy).
1.2 For the purposes of this Privacy Policy, a data subject is a customer or other natural person whose personal data is processed by Sniffy.
1.3 For the purposes of this Privacy Policy, a customer is anyone who purchases goods or services from the Sniffy website.
1.4 Sniffy complies with the data processing principles set out in the legislation, including processing personal data lawfully, fairly and securely. Sniffy is able to confirm that personal data has been processed in accordance with the law.

  1. COLLECTION, PROCESSING AND STORAGE OF PERSONAL DATA

2.1 The personal data that Sniffy collects, processes and maintains is collected electronically, primarily through the website and email.
2.2 By sharing their personal data, the data subject grants Sniffy the right to collect, organise, use and manage the personal data that the data subject directly or indirectly shares with Sniffy when purchasing goods or services from the website for the purposes specified in the Privacy Policy.
2.3 It is the responsibility of the data subject to ensure that the information they provide is accurate, correct and complete. The data subject is obliged to inform Sniffy immediately of any changes to the data provided.
2.4 Sniffy shall not be liable for any damage caused by the provision of false information by the data subject to the data subject or third parties.

  1. PROCESSING OF CUSTOMERS’ PERSONAL DATA

3.1 Sniffy may process the following personal data of the data subject:

    • First name and surname;
    • Date of birth;
    • Telephone number;
    • E-mail address;
    • Address for delivery;
    • Current bank account number;
    • Payment card details;

3.2 The personal data of the data subject will not be processed for longer than necessary. Sniffy is allowed to process the personal data of the data subject for as long as it is necessary for the fulfilment of the customer relationship between Sniffy and the data subject or until the data subject withdraws his or her consent to the processing of the data or until a statutory deadline (e.g. under tax or accounting laws).
3.3 Sniffy has the right to share customers’ personal data with third parties, such as authorised data processors, accountants, transport and courier companies, companies providing transfer services. Sniffy is the controller of personal data. For example, Sniffy transfers the personal data necessary for the execution of payments to the processor Montonio Finance UAB.
3.4 When processing and storing the personal data of the data subject, Sniffy implements organisational and technical measures to ensure the protection of personal data against accidental or unlawful destruction, alteration, disclosure and any other unlawful processing.
3.5 Sniffy may use the personal data provided by the data subject in order to provide the data subject with information about offers and to conduct satisfaction surveys. In the event that the data subject no longer wishes to receive direct offers, he or she has the right to withdraw his or her consent to the processing of personal data at any time by contacting Sniffy.

  1. DATA SUBJECT RIGHTS

4.1 The data subject has the right to access and inspect his or her personal data.
4.2 The data subject has the right to receive information about the processing of his or her personal data.
4.3 The data subject has the right to complete or correct inaccurate data.
4.4 If Sniffy processes the personal data of a data subject on the basis of the data subject’s consent, the data subject has the right to withdraw his or her consent at any time.
4.5 The data subject can exercise his or her rights by contacting the e-shop customer support ([email protected]).
4.6 The data subject may lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Inspectorate in order to protect his or her rights.

5.1 Sniffy website (www.sniffy.ee) uses cookies.

    • A cookie is a small text file that is stored on the user’s computer or other device (such as a phone or tablet) when they visit a website. The text file contains information that is used to recognise the user and improve the user experience of the website. Cookies help to ensure that the Sniffy website better meets the user’s needs, for example, to make it easier to find the information you need and to make the website safer to use. Cookies do not read information from the user’s device or transmit it to the web.
    • The user can delete or block cookies from their device through the settings of their web browser. When cookies are blocked, the website may not function in a partially normal way.
  1. FINAL PROVISIONS

6.1 These Data Protection Terms and Conditions have been drafted in accordance with Regulation (EU) No 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data and repealing Directive 95/46/EC / EC (General Data Protection Regulation), the Personal Data Protection Act of the Republic of Estonia and the legislation of the Republic of Estonia and the European Union.
6.2 Sniffy reserves the right to unilaterally modify the data protection conditions by informing data subjects of the modifications on the website (www.sniffy.ee).
